About David Jaffe . . .

The Jaffe Team is a mortgage planning team that has more than 20 years of  experience and has closed over $2 Billion in residential mortgages.  Our job is to ensure that our clients get the best mortgage for their particular situation.  Unlike an 800-number call center which may be a thousand miles away, we are local and available and we take the time to understand a client’s individual needs.

As an independent mortgage banker, we price a loan by searching the top banks and mortgage companies for the best pricing.  As a direct lender, we then process, underwrite, and close loans with our money without having to rely on the bank’s service platform and that means we have total control of the loan from the beginning to the end.  Therefore, when you make just one call to us it is the equivalent of having made 10 or 12 calls to various mortgage companies.

As an independent mortgage banker, we don’t have retail bank overlays.  This means that each bank has different interpretations of the same underwriting guidelines.  For example:  If one bank’s guidelines don’t like a loan for a specific reason, we can use another bank which interprets the same underwriting guideline differently and that gives us more flexibility with the underwriting guidelines than a single bank, because a bank is restricted by its own interpretation of the guidelines.  We are able to look at all of our bank’s interpretations of the same guidelines and that gives us a big advantage over a traditional bank.

The Wildcats welcome long-time partner Ventura Trophy as a sponsor for our Summer League.

For 20 years, the Wildcat program has gone to Ventura Trophy for all of our trophies and awards whether they be for the Summer league, travel teams, or our short-term programs.

The reason we keep going back is because Alfredo and Montelle have given us perfect service and wonderful value! They stand behind their work and they are among the friendliest people in town.

The East Ventura Optimist Club has been an on-going supporter and contributor to the Wildcat mission since the League began in 1993.

Optimist president Dave Erickson is one of four co-founders of the Wildcat program and Dave was a charter coach.

The East Ventura Optimists donate tens of thousands of dollars every year to youth organizations like the Wildcats, to schools for needed equipment, and to individual student scholarships for those who have worked hard and achieved.
